An estimated one third of food produced and purchased goes to waste. Current domestic food preservation products are technology focused, preventing a connection and sense of responsibility between the user and their food.

​The design solution is to highlight the beauty of natural produce, in combination with natural methods of food preservation forcing a greater sense of responsibility upon the user, resulting in reduced food waste.
